Nikon D40 - and upgrade of the D50!

Nikon D40 Digital SLR review

I have been taking a look at Nikon's newest Digital SLR, and I'm please to say this is a camera that I would be interested in buying if I was in the market for a new D SLR. It meets my like, such as my insistence that the flash sync should be no less the 1/500sec which gives you more of an aperture choice, and amazingly rear curtain sync - vital for a more natural looking shot when using flash at a slower shutter speed. The built if flash has a guide number of 17 at ISO200 - which is the slowest ISO setting. A loss of and F-stop or 2.
The D40 has a larger 2.5 inch LCD screen at the back and takes SD cards.
